Arcana Blitz

Your burst spells become unstoppable within your time bubble.

Prerequisites: Arcana Rush, Fast Path, 5th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Reflex save DCs for your spells are further increased by 1 when you cast those spells on creatures within your time bubble. This stacks with the bonus from Arcana Rush.

Compression: You may spontaneously apply the effects of the Quicken Spell metamagic feat to any spell you cast without increasing the spell slot consumed. Doing so immediately ends your compression. You do not need to possess Quicken Spell to benefit from this tweak. You can only affect spells up to 1st level with this ability. At 9th level, you may affect 2nd-level spells as well.

Arcana Loop

Your burst spells linger indefinitely within your time bubble.

Prerequisites: Arcana Lull, Slow Path, 5th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Will save DCs for your spells are further increased by 1 when you cast those spells on creatures within your time bubble. This stacks with the bonus from Arcana Lull.

Compression: You may spontaneously apply the effects of the Persistent Spell metamagic feat to any spell you cast without increasing the spell slot consumed. Doing so immediately ends your compression. You do not need to possess Quicken Spell to benefit from this tweak. You can only affect spells up to 2nd level with this ability. At 7th level, and again at 10th level, this maximum is increased by 1, to a maximum of 4th-level spells at 10th level.

Arcana Lull

Your spells function precisely and over a longer period of time within your time bubble, making them harder to resist.

Prerequisites: Slow Path, 3rd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Will save DCs for your spells are increased by 1 when you cast those spells on creatures within your time bubble.

Compression: You may spontaneously apply the effects of the Extend Spell or Linger Spell metamagic feats to any spell you cast without increasing the casting time or spell slot consumed. Doing so immediately ends your compression. You do not need to possess either metamagic feat to benefit from this tweak. You can only affect spells up to 2nd level with this ability. For every two class levels you posses above 3rd, this maximum is increased by 1, to a maximum of 6th-level spells at 10th level.

Arcana Rush

Your spells function more rapidly within your time bubble, making them harder to avoid and more devastating.

Prerequisites: Fast Path, 3rd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Reflex save DCs for your spells are increased by 1 when you cast those spells on creatures within your time bubble.

Compression: You may spontaneously apply the effects of the Intensify Spell or Heighten Spell (+1) metamagic feats to any spell you cast without increasing the casting time or spell slot consumed. Doing so immediately ends your compression. You do not need to possess either metamagic feat to benefit from this tweak. You can only affect spells up to 2nd level with this ability. For every two class levels you posses above 3rd, this maximum is increased by 1, to a maximum of 6th-level spells at 10th level.

Arcane Interference

Your time bubble warps arcane energies.

Prerequisite: 5th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Arcane spells and spell-like abilities function at either +1 or -1 caster level when cast within your time bubble. You choose whether to give a bonus or a penalty when you project your bubble, and cannot change this choice until the bubble expires. You receive this bonus or penalty, even when compressing your bubble.

Compression: For 1 round after you compress your time bubble, all other arcane casters who had been within it before it was compressed must make concentration checks or lose any spell they try to cast. The DC for this check is equal to 15 + your tinker level + your Intelligence modifier.

Asynchronous Targeting

You have grown accustomed to taking your time bubble's distortion effect into account when aiming your ranged attacks.

Prerequisite: 3rd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: You do not receive the normal distortion effect penalty on ranged attack rolls when attacking creatures outside your time bubble.

Compression: Your training in predicting movements, momentum, and trajectories across multiple timescales has led to your having an uncanny knack at striking his targets. When attempting to hit a target with any ranged weapon or spell that requires an attack roll, you ignore the target’s luck and insight bonuses to AC. In addition, you are treated as having the Blind Fight and Improved Blind Fight feats while your time bubble is compressed.

Burn

The accelerated particles within your time bubble turn up the temperature.

Prerequisite: Fast Path.

Benefit: Temperatures within your time bubble increase by 30˚. Creatures inside the bubble have resist cold 10.

Compression: You gain resist cold 20 and deal 1d6 points of fire damage to your target on every successful melee attack.

Burst of Productivity

Your kairotheurgy allows you to craft magical items more quickly.

Prerequisites: Fast Path, 2nd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: By expending 6 of your daily compression rounds and 6 spell levels' worth of time bubble, you can increase your crafting speeds. Normally, crafting a magic item takes 8 hours per 1,000 GP in its base price, and 8 hours must be spent per day. Using this ability reduces the number of hours per 1,000 GP to 6. This does not allow you to craft items at a rate faster than 1,000 GP/day; it merely allows you to spend less of your time each day working on the item.

Careful Construction

Slowing the strands of time, you craft items more carefully.

Prerequisites: Slow Path, 2nd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: By expending 6 of your daily compression rounds and 6 spell levels' worth of time bubble, you can take the time to optimize your crafting procedures. Using this ability grants you a +5 bonus on whatever skill check you use to determine your daily success at crafting magical items. If you use this ability once per day throughout the construction of an item, you have maximized the efficiency of your craft: you regain 5% of the base price of the crafted item in nondescript raw materials, usable in future crafting endeavors.

Chill

The decelerated particles within your time bubble turn down the temperature.

Prerequisite: Slow Path.

Benefit: Temperatures within your time bubble decrease by 30˚. Creatures inside the bubble have resist fire 10.

Compression: You gain resist fire 20 and deal 1d6 points of cold damage to your target on every successful melee attack.

Down the Hatch

Creatures within your bubble gain the ability to imbibe beverages with great celerity.

Prerequisites: Fast Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble do not provoke attacks of opportunity for drawing or drinking potions, elixirs, or similar potables.

Compression: While your bubble is compressed, you gain the benefits of Quick Draw with regard to anything potable. You may consume a potion, beverage, extract, mutagen, poison, or elixir as a swift action during any round in which you are compressing your time bubble. In addition, if you have a free hand, you may produce one such item and drink it while moving as a free action.

Event Horizon

Your time bubble draws creatures into it.

Benefit: Any creature that begins its turn outside your time bubble but within 5 feet of the bubble must make a Will save (DC = 12 + your Intelligence modifier) or be shifted 5 feet into the bubble. The time gap and time rift abilities do not affect a creature so forced into your bubble, but they could apply if the creature later attempts to leave the bubble.

Compression: While your time bubble is compressed, you may suck creatures toward you. This is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. You designate one creature within 60 feet and it makes a Will save. If it fails, it is instantly transported into a random unoccupied square adjacent to you. This movement operates as dimension door.

Expand Time Bubble

Your time bubble expands as your experiments increase in scale.

Benefit: Your time bubble radius increases by 5 feet, plus 5 feet for every 3 temporal tinker levels beyond the first (to a total increase of 20 feet at 10th level).

Compression: The expansion of your bubble is evident even when it is compressed, as distortion leaks out in a small radius around you. When you compress your time bubble, the normal distortion effect—usually suppressed during compression—lingers in a 5-foot radius around you.

Fast Path

Your time bubble enhances the reactions of those within it.

Benefit: Creatures within your time bubble gain a +1 bonus on Reflex saves.

Compression: This tweak has no special effects while your time bubble is compressed, but the bonus to Reflex saves stacks with that provided by compressing your time bubble.

Fortress in Time

Your time bubble is so layered that it blocks projectiles and perception.

Prerequisite: Layer Distortion, 7th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: The closest a tinker can come to stopping time is to twist its threads so tightly that the flow of time is temporarily diverted. By layering intricacy upon intricacy, you can dam time around yourself, providing a meager barrier against the inevitable. Once per turn, you may nullify one ranged attack entering your bubble, as with Deflect Arrows. The attack doesn’t need to be targeting you, or even anyone inside your bubble—it merely needs to pass through the bubble. You do not need to have a free hand to use this ability.

Compression: By drawing the dams of time within yourself, you break the timescales of perception and divination, briefly disappearing completely from the senses of those around you. This functions as a combination of invisibility (greater) and nondetection, but see invisibility and true seeing do not penetrate it, and no anti-invisibility effects (glitterdust, dust of appearance, invisibility purge, etc.) reveal you. Abilities like blindsense and blindsight still operate. The DC of the caster level check for divination spells attempting to pierce the nondetection effect is 30. Scent, hearing, and tremorsense are all ineffective at detecting you.

Hastened Healing

The natural healing of creatures within your time bubble is hastened.

Prerequisites: Fast Path, Let the Poison Spill, 5th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble gain fast healing 1.

Compression: While compressing your time bubble, you gain fast healing 5. You can never benefit from both this fast healing and the normal fast healing provided by this tweak in the same round; before fast healing "happens" you must decide whether you want to spend a round of compression to benefit from the greater rate.

Intensify Distortion

The distortion caused by your time bubble is stronger than usual.

Prerequisite: 3rd-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: The penalties associated with the normal distortion effects of your time bubble are increased by 1.

Compression: Your compression bonus to AC and Reflex saves is increased by 1.

Lasting Buzz

Creatures drinking in your bubble enjoy longer-lasting effects.

Prerequisites: Slow Path.

Benefit: Creatures who consume a potent beverage within your time bubble find its effects amplified. Drunken brute barbarians gain 2 extra rounds of rage per alcoholic drink consumed while raging, instead of 1 round per drink. Drunken master monks retain their drunken ki points for 2 hours or until spent, whichever is longer, instead of 1 hour.

Compression: The durations of any potions you consume (either before or during your compression) are suspended for the duration of the compression. For example, if you have consumed a potion of haste (CL 5), it ordinarily has a duration of 5 rounds. If you immediately compress your time bubble, the duration remains at 5 as long as you maintain your compression, though the effects of the potion persist. When your compression ends, you would have 5 rounds of haste remaining.

Layer Distortion

You form a secondary, miniature time bubble within your time bubble, providing a distortion effect between yourself and the rest of your bubble.

Prerequisite: 5th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: You do not count as being within your own time bubble for the purposes of determining who suffers what distortion penalties. Thus, creatures other than you within your bubble receive the normal distortion penalty both against creatures outside the bubble and against you. You, likewise, receive the normal distortion penalty both against creatures inside and outside the bubble. This tweak does not affect creatures outside the bubble: their penalties remain the same against all creatures within the bubble, including you.

Compression: The complexity of your layered time manipulation eats away at your physicality. While compressing your bubble, you gain none of the bonuses to attack rolls, AC, Reflex saves, or skill checks normally associated with compression; instead, you flicker back and forth between the Material and Ethereal Planes, as though affected by blink.

Let the Poison Spill

Temporal distortion in your time bubble accelerates metabolisms, causing poisons and other afflictions to work more rapidly.

Prerequisites: Fast Path.

Benefit: Creatures inside your time bubble take double damage from bleed effects. In addition, poisons and diseases have their frequencies doubled.

Compression: While you are compressing your time bubble, you can prick yourself and let a tiny bit of blood (a free action that deals 1 damage to you) in order to expel all objectionable substances from your system, instantly curing yourself of all mundane poisons, diseases, and drugs, along with the sickened and nauseated conditions, so long as these were inflicted upon you via mundane means.

Special: You have become particularly adept at maintaining your focus while suffering illness, and the nauseated condition no longer ends your compression prematurely.

Moondance

The slower time within your bubble makes gravity less relevant.

Prerequisites: Slow Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble receive a circumstance bonus on Perform (dance), Acrobatics, and Fly skill checks equal to your tinker level. All creatures within your bubble are affected as by feather fall at all times. At 10th level, creatures within your bubble act as though affected by air walk.

Compression: You can levitate as the spell, at a rate of 30 feet per move action. At 6th level, you can fly, as the spell. When your compression ends, you are affected as by glide that lasts for 1 round for every three tinker levels (minimum 1) or until you touch the ground, whichever comes first.

Special: This tweak and Walking on the Sun are antithetical. If you possess both, you must choose which to apply each time you project your time bubble.

Reduce Force

Decreased gravity in your time bubble causes weapons to deal less damage.

Prerequisites: Moondance, Slow Path, 7th-level temporal tinker.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble gain DR 5/—.

Compression: You gain DR 10/—.

Slow and Steady

The leisurely pace of time within your bubble allows you and other creatures within it to win every race, just like turtles do.

Prerequisites: Slow Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble automatically stabilize and remain conscious below 0 HP, as though they had the Diehard feat. You may compress your time bubble as an immediate reaction in response to becoming dazed, disabled, or nauseated.

Compression: Your speeds cannot be reduced below 20 feet. You can take 10 on all Climb and Swim skill checks, so long as you are not increasing the check's DC in order to move faster. You treat the dazed, disabled, and nauseated conditions as staggered—you can always take a standard or move action, and are never at risk of hurting yourself from strenuous activity while disabled.

Slow Metabolism

Slowed metabolisms within your time bubble delay the effects of bleeds, poisons, and diseases.

Prerequisites: Slow Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble do not take bleed damage, and are affected as by delay poison. Additionally, they cannot contract or pass on diseases while in the bubble. When they leave your bubble, they begin bleeding again if they have a bleed effect; if there is poison in their system, it resumes its work; if they are still being exposed to any diseases against which the bubble protected them, they must now make their saves to avoid catching ill.

Compression: You are immune to the sickened and nauseated conditions for the duration of your compression. If you were sickened or nauseated prior to compressing your time bubble, these conditions are merely suppressed, and resume when your compression ends.

Slow Path

Your time bubble causes the world to go by in slow-motion, allowing those within it to better perceive things.

Benefit: Creatures within your time bubble gain a +1 bonus on Wisdom-based skill checks.

Compression: This tweak has no special effects while your time bubble is compressed, but the bonus to Wisdom-based skill checks stacks with that provided by compressing your time bubble.

Spaghettification

Your time bubble's gravity is so strong that it reshapes those who are forced into it, damaging their organs and sickening them.

Prerequisite: Event Horizon.

Benefit: Any creature involuntarily forced into your time bubble (by a teleportation mishap or shunting, by the Event Horizon tweak, or by them finding themselves within the time bubble thanks to extradimensional movement on the your part—but not by the natural movement of the time bubble as determined by your movements, nor by the projection of the time bubble) is nauseated for 1d4 rounds and takes 3d6 nonlethal damage. A successful Fortitude save reduces the nauseated duration to 1 round and the nonlethal damage to 1d6.

Compression: This tweak has no special effects while your time bubble is compressed.

Unstoppable Speed

Creatures move more rapidly and lithely within your bubble, making them harder to pin down and stop.

Prerequisites: Fast Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble gain a circumstance bonus on saving throws against any effect that would hamper their movement equal to 1/2 your class level (minimum +1).

Compression: While compressing your time bubble, you are affected as by freedom of movement.

Walking on the Sun

The faster time within your bubble makes gravity harder to keep up with.

Prerequisites: Fast Path.

Benefit: Creatures in your time bubble take a penalty on Perform (dance), Acrobatics, and Fly skill checks equal to your tinker level. Feather fall effects are suppressed within your bubble. Melee weapons wielded by creatures within your bubble do damage as though they were on size category larger; at 10th level, they do damage as though they were two size categories larger. Falling damage is doubled within your bubble.

Compression: While compressing your time bubble, you gain a bonus to your CMD to resist bullrush, drag, reposition, and trip combat maneuvers equal to your class level; at 10th level, you cannot be moved by mundane versions of these maneuvers. Additionally, you cannot be blown away by winds of any strength less than windstorm; at 10th level, you cannot be blown away by winds of any strength less than tornado.

Special: This tweak and Moondance are antithetical. If you possess both, you must choose which to apply each time you project your time bubble.
