Agile Combatant

When concentrating, the genius gains Agile Maneuvers and Weapon Finesse as bonus feats.

Arcane Intuition (Sp)

Prerequisites: Int 11, Arcane Intuition, Lesser, 8th-level genius.

Select one 1st-level spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. When concentrating, the genius gains the ability to cast this spell as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability is equal to the genius's level. The save DC for this spell is 11 + the genius's Intelligence modifier. This insight can only be used once per concentration, and a maximum number of times per day equal to 3 + the genius's Intelligence modifier.

Arcane Intuition, Greater (Sp)

Prerequisites: Int 12, Arcane Intuition, 12th-level genius.

Select one 2nd-level spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. When concentrating, the genius gains the ability to cast this spell as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability is equal to the genius's level. The save DC for this spell is 12 + the genius's Intelligence modifier. This insight can only be used once per concentration, and a maximum number of times per day equal to 1 + the genius's Intelligence modifier.

Arcane Intuition, Lesser (Sp)

Prerequisites: Int 10.

Select one 0-level spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. When concentrating, the genius gains the ability to cast this spell as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability is equal to the genius's level. The save DC for this spell is 10 + the genius's Intelligence modifier. This insight can only be used once per concentration.

Calculated Evasion (Ex)

Prerequisites: 8th-level genius.

The genius gains a bonus to one Reflex save equal to her Intelligence modifier. Activating this insight is an immediate action. This insight can only be used once per concentration.

Death Attack (Ex)

Prerequisites: Hit where it hurts, 10th-level genius.

This functions exactly as the assassin ability by the same name, except that the genius may make use of it only while concentrating. The genius must remain concentrating for all 3 rounds of studying and while actually conducting the sneak attack, effectively using at least 4 rounds of concentration. Treat the genius's effective assassin level as 1/2 her genius level for the purposes of determining the DC of this ability. If the genius has levels in another class that grants the death attack ability, these levels stack with her effective assassin level to determine the DC of her death attack.

Describe the Logical Outcome (Ex)

The genius can make an Intimidate check against one adjacent foe as a move action, using her Intelligence modifier instead of her Charisma modifier. The DC of this check increases by 10 if the genius is outnumbered. If the genius successfully demoralizes her opponent, the foe is shaken for 1d4 rounds + 1 round for every 5 points by which the genius's check exceeds the DC. The genius and her opponent must share a language for this ability to have any effect.

Disable Arcana (Su)

Prerequisites: Arcane intuition, lesser.

When concentrating and attempting to dispel or counter a magical effect, the genius gains a +1 bonus to her caster level. This bonus increases by +1 for every 4 levels the genius has attained. A genius can benefit from this insight only once per concentration.

Distance Calculation (Ex)

The range increment for any ranged weapon you use while concentrating increases by 10'. A genius can select this insight up to three times. Its effects stack.

Extended Concentration (Ex)

You may concentrate as you begin working on a larger task, such as crafting. If you do, you expend all your concentration rounds for the day, but gain the normal bonuses to Dexterity and Intelligence for 8 hours, and can use them when making any skill checks related to your activity. If you are interrupted or otherwise abandon your activity, your concentration ends.

Fast Stealth (Ex)

This functions exactly as the rogue talent by the same name, except that the genius only gains its benefits while concentrating.

Figure it Out (Ex)

Select one skill. While concentrating, you gain a bonus to this skill equal to your Hit Dice minus the number of ranks you have in it and are considered trained in its use. Additionally, you may use it while concentrating, even if it's a skill you normally can't use while concentrating. A genius can select this insight multiple times. Each time you select this insight, it applies to a different skill.

Fill in the Blanks (Ex)

Prerequisites: 6th-level genius.

Presented with an incomplete picture of her surroundings, a genius can sometimes figure out how objects are located in space. The genius ignores any miss chance lower than total concealment against one target for one round. Activating this insight is a swift action and its effects last until the beginning of the genius's next turn. This insight can only be used once per concentration.

Heightened Senses (Ex)

When concentrating, the genius adds her level as an enhancement bonus to all Perception skill checks.

Hit Where It Hurts (Ex)

Prerequisites: 6th-level genius.

While concentrating, the genius gains a sneak attack, as a rogue, dealing an additional +1d6 damage when applicable. A genius can select this insight up to three times. Its effects stack.

Special: This insight counts as the sneak attack ability for purposes of qualifying for feats and prestige classes.

Instant Familiarity (Ex)

Each time you begin concentrating, select one weapon. You are treated as being proficient with that weapon for the duration of your concentration. If the selected weapon is improvised, you gain the benefits of Catch Off-Guard. At 10th level, you gain the benefits of Weapon Focus with the selected weapon for the duration of your concentration.

Intuit Thoughts (Ex)

Prerequisites: Sense presence, 8th-level genius.

On the round immediately after you successfully detect thinking creatures in your surroundings using sense presence, you may, as a move action, probe the thoughts of any one of those creatures. This must be a creature you can perceive with another sense (such as sight, hearing, touch, tremor sense, etc.). The creature you select receives a Will save (DC = 10 + 1/2 your genius level + your Intelligence modifier); if it fails, you detect its surface thoughts. Creatures of animal intelligence (Int 1 or 2) have simple, instinctual thoughts. If a creature succeeds on its save against this ability, you cannot attempt to detect its thoughts again this concentration.

Lore Master (Ex)

Prerequisites: 6th-level genius.

This functions exactly as the bard ability by the same name, except that the genius may make use of it only while concentrating. In addition, taking 20 on a Knowledge skill check immediately ends her concentration. This expenditure of her concentration always leaves the genius fatigued, even if she has the tireless concentration ability.

One Glance (Su)

Prerequisites: 6th-level genius.

When concentrating, the genius receives a +1 insight bonus on Spellcraft skill checks to determine the properties of a magical item. This bonus increases by +1 for every 4 levels the genius has attained. In addition, once per concentration, a genius can make such a check as a standard action (instead of taking three rounds).

Passive Language (Ex)

Select any two languages. You can read, speak, and understand them fluently while concentrating. A genius can select this insight multiple times. Each time you select this insight, you gain an additional two languages known when concentrating.

Perfect Strike

Prerequisites: 4th-level genius.

You can benefit from the Perfect Strike feat once per concentration, even if you don't meet the normal prerequisites for the feat. The benefits apply to attack rolls made with any weapon, not just those listed under the feat description.

Poison Use (Ex)

This functions exactly as the rogue talent by the same name, except that the genius only gains its benefits while concentrating.

Rationalize (Ex)

Prerequisites: 8th-level genius.

The genius gains a bonus to one Will save equal to her Intelligence modifier. Activating this insight is an immediate action. This insight can only be used once per concentration.

Sense Presence (Ex)

Prerequisites: 4th-level genius.

While concentrating, you can scan for presences as a standard action. This reveals the presence or absence of thoughts from creatures with Intelligence scores of 1 or higher within 40 feet of you. This uncanny detection is a sense on its own, and reacts to creatures you couldn't otherwise perceive. This sense can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.

When you use this ability, you immediately know the number of thinking minds in the area, but you do not determine their locations unless you can otherwise perceive the creatures in question.

Skill Mastery (Ex)

Prerequisites: 10th-level genius.

This functions exactly as the rogue advanced talent by the same name, except that the genius only gains its benefits while concentrating. As with the rogue talent, a genius may gain this insight multiple times, selecting additional skills for skill mastery to apply to each time.

Spell Focus

Prerequisites: 6th-level genius.

When concentrating, the genius gains Spell Focus as a bonus feat. The genius selects to which school of magic this feat applies upon entering concentration.

Spell Focus, Greater

Prerequisites: Spell focus insight.

When concentrating, the genius gains Greater Spell Focus as a bonus feat. This feat applies to the same school of magic as the genius's spell focus insight.

Supplementary Predictions (Su)

Prerequisites: Arcane intuition, lesser.

When concentrating and casting a spell of the divination school, the genius gains a +1 bonus to her caster level. This bonus increases by +1 for every 4 levels the genius has attained. A genius can benefit from this insight only once per concentration.

Understand the Land (Ex)

Prerequisites: 8th-level genius.

When concentrating, the genius treats her surroundings as though they were her favored terrain. She gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks and Knowledge (geography), Perception, Stealth, and Survival skill checks (though she may not make Survival checks while concentrating unless she selected the figure it out insight for Survival), and she may choose whether or not to leave tracks. Bonuses from this insight don't stack with those from the favored terrain ability; only the highest bonus applies.
