Field Abilities: The following are the granted abilities of the alchemy field.

Bombs (Su): At 1st level, you can throw bombs as an alchemist of your level, though you do not add your Intelligence bonus to damage as an alchemist does. You can use your bombs a number of times per day equal to 1 + your Intelligence bonus.

Transformative Elixir (Su): At 3rd level, you gain either the mutagen discovery or the cognatogen discovery, using your scholar level as your alchemist level for the purposes of determining its effects. In addition, your experimentation with body-altering substances grants you a +2 bonus on saving throws made against diseases and poisons. At 9th level, your bonus on disease and poison saving throws increases to +4.

Extracts (Ex): At 9th level, you can choose to prepare extracts (as an alchemist) instead of notes, treating studies as formulae. You can make this choice on a per-slot basis when filling your daily spell slots. Any extract you make targets its imbiber. You cannot make an extract of a spell that doesn't target a single creature. Additionally, you receive the infusion discovery.

Aided Quaffing: At 15th level, you can spend a minute speaking to an ally prior to feeding them a cognatogen or mutagen. If you do, they gain the benefits of the elixir upon imbibing it, and the duration of the nauseated condition is reduced to 1 round. Additionally, you receive the infuse mutagen discovery.

Alchemical Perfection: At 20th level, you gain immunity to disease and poison and may immediately gain three discoveries, treating your alchemist level as your scholar level - 3 for the purposes of qualifying for discoveries.
